Anemoi LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles personal information in accordance with Japan’s APPI and applicable guidelines. This Policy covers our use of cookies, analytics, and advertising tags.

We collect identity/contact/shipping details, transaction & interaction history (including returns/refunds), membership-related data (points/store credit/referrals), payment-related info (full card numbers are processed by payment providers such as Shopify Payments/PayPal/KOMOJU and are generally not stored by us), support records, and online identifiers (cookie IDs, device/browser info, IP, referrers, logs, approximate location).

3. Purposes of Use

We use data to process orders/payments/shipping/returns/refunds, provide support, verify identity and prevent fraud, comply with laws, manage accounts, improve services (including analytics), and send optional marketing with opt-out.

4. Cookies & Consent

We may use cookies/pixels for (a) essential functionality/security, (b) analytics (e.g., GA4), and (c) advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, X, TikTok). For analytics/ads cookies, we use a consent banner/consent-management mechanism (where implemented) so you can accept/decline and update preferences. You may be able to change preferences anytime via “Cookie Settings” in the site footer.

5. External Transmission Disclosures (Named Tools)

We update this list when tools change.

  • Shopify (E-commerce Platform): Data sent includes ID, contact, order, and tech logs for operations and security. Opt-out: N/A (Essential). Location: Canada/USA/etc.
  • Payments (Shopify Payments, PayPal, KOMOJU, etc.): Data sent includes order/payment info for processing and fraud prevention. Opt-out: N/A (Essential). Location: Provider's region.
  • Shipping (Carriers): Data sent includes name, address, phone for delivery. Opt-out: N/A (Essential).
  • Google Analytics 4: Data sent includes cookie ID, device info, events for analytics. Opt-out: Via Cookie Settings or browser. Location: USA/etc.
  • Google Ads: Data sent includes ad clicks, conversions. Opt-out: Via Cookie Settings or Google Ad Settings. Location: USA/etc.
  • Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram): Data sent includes events (ViewContent, Purchase, etc.). Opt-out: Via Cookie Settings or Meta Ad Settings. Location: USA/etc.
  • X Ads: Data sent includes ad metrics. Opt-out: Via Cookie Settings or X settings. Location: USA/etc.
  • TikTok Ads: Data sent includes ad metrics. Opt-out: Via Cookie Settings or TikTok settings. Location: Singapore/USA/etc.
  • Email Marketing: Data sent includes email and history for campaigns. Opt-out: Via unsubscribe link.
  • Ad Matching (Customer Match, etc.): Data sent includes hashed email/phone for matching with platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) to optimize ads. Opt-out: Via platform settings or contacting us.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose personal data without your consent except as required by law, to protect vital interests, to cooperate with authorities, or to service providers/processors necessary to operate the Service (as described above).

We do not currently engage in joint use. If we do, we will disclose details here.

8. Cross-Border Transfers

We may transfer data overseas to these providers. We take APPI-compliant measures (as applicable), such as informing you of recipient countries and safeguards, confirming appropriate safeguards, and/or obtaining consent when required. This refers to processing and storage by service providers to the extent necessary to operate the Service, and we take reasonable measures to ensure appropriate safeguards.

9. Security Measures

We implement organizational, physical, technical, and personnel safeguards. We do not store full payment card numbers.

10. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of use/provision of retained personal data. Contact us by email below. We may verify identity and charge fees where permitted by law (we will inform you in advance). We respond within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Retention

We retain data only as necessary for the purposes above or as required/permitted by law (e.g., tax/accounting records may be retained up to 7 years).

12. Minors

Parental consent may be required for minors.

13. Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in laws/guidelines or the Service. Material changes will be announced on our site.
